Lockdown: Lagos state domesticates plans for gradual ease

Lagos State Government has domesticated plans for gradual ease of lockdown mandate issued by President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday.

The State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who announced the domestication in a state wide broadcast on Wednesday, also gave a long list of conditions upon which life will gradually return to normalcy for residents of the state.

Sonwo-Olu among other conditions noted that business were to be opened for seven hours from 9 am to 3 pm with not more than 60 per cent of their staff strength.

This is not applicable to barber shops, hotels, schools, clubs among others while markets will be opened on selected days between 7 am and 3 pm while all places of worship will remain closed until further notice.
