The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, and the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, have rejoiced with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on his victory and successful outing in his first tenure which according to them endeared him to all and sundry.
The CAN members led by its State Chairman, Sylvanus Okorote, burst into songs thanking God for prayers come true.
Deputy National President of NLC, Comrade Amaechi Asuguni, on behalf of organized labour in the state described Okowa as a labour friendly Governor hence the decision of labour to support his second term bid.
Governor Okowa promised to ensure that his second term will surpass his first term achievements.
