Kwara / Nscdc Arrests Two Suspects For Allegedly Raping Their Own Daughters.

Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Kwara State Command have arrested two middle aged men, Idowu Yahaya 39 years old and John Balogun, 49, for alleged rape and sexually abuse of their 15 and 17 year old daughters at Gaa-Akanbi and Osere areas of Ilorin.

The Commandant of the Command, Umar Mohammed who disclosed this while briefing Journalists at the State Command Headquarters noted that the two suspects would be charged to court without delay.

This Immoral acts of rape and sexual abuse despite efforts put in place to sensitize parents and guardians appear to be on the increase as reported cases in the Kwara State Command of NSCDC continue to rise standing at 15 between January and August 2023 while 12 suspects have also been prosecuted.

One of the suspects who claimed to have been pushed into the crime by the devil said he was tempted by the continued sight of his daughter’s nakedness in a single room where they lived.
