Britain’s King Charles has paid a visit to the German-British pioneer bridge battalion in Finowfurt.
This is part of his first state visit to Germany since ascending the throne last year as a monarch.
The binational battalion is specialized in clearing the way for advancing tanks in case of an emergency.
Earlier the king highlighted the historic ties between Britain and Germany while lauding their current unity in the face of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine
