Job Racketeering: Seven FCC Federal Commissioners Accuse Chairman Of Racketeering

No fewer than seven Federal Character Commissioners have accused the Chairman of the Commission, Mrs Farida Dankaka of selling jobs in dollars for job seekers to Federal Ministries, Department and Agencies (MDAs) of Government.

The allegations were made at the second day of the ongoing investigative hearing on job Racketeering and other corrupt practices in MDAs, Agencies, Parasternal and Tertiary Institutions in Abuja.

At the resumed hearing with the Chairman present it was alleged that Dankaka not only sell jobs in dollars but also connive with the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) to stop a petition written against her on job racketeering.

The chairman on her part denied the allegations against her stating that corruption fights back when you fight it. She says her refusal to compromise her position is the reason she has been framed by the aggrieved commissioners.

The Chairman of the committee, Gagdi Yusuf in his response to the ongoing revelation said all the committee wants is justice on the matter stating that the committee will not dabble into the politics of any agency.
