J.Lo has been sued by Alvin Gray-El for allegedly stealing the ‘World of Dance’ TV show idea from him. According to him, the entire show is a carbon copy of his show – Let’s Start the Dance.
He also claimed the show had been duly registered with the U.S copyright office in 2010 and also notified the NBC of the copyright infringement but without much success.
Gray-El has sued for $5 Million in damages and and additional 1.5 Million in punitive damages.
Lopez is yet to respond to the claims levelled against her show.
