American singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress Janet Jackson and popular American rapper Cardi B have been chosen to headline the Global Citizen Festival in New York.
The festival is designed to rally support for global relief and to eradicate extreme poverty. The festival will take place on the 29th of September in Central Park.
Other stars set to perform at the event include Janelle Monae, R&B sensation The weekend, pop star John Legend and Shawn Mendes.
The September 29 event will be hosted by Australian acting couple Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness, with Forest Whitaker and Naomi Campbell set to co-host.
