Chinese billionaire and founder of Alibaba, Jack Ma finally shares on what keeps him up at night and said as much during the Viva Technology conference last week Thursday.
Europe and how everything they do is full with rules and laws!
According to the e-commerce titan, when Europe start to worry, they think about rules however Chinese entrepreneurs solve problems first, then make rules and laws later.
Alibaba attributes this worrying nature to why Europe has been lagging in the technology space like in the U.S and China and falling on economic front as a result.
He said in quote
“I worry about Europe,” Ma added. “I worry about the worries of Europe. Africa does not worry. Asia does not worry. What are they worried about?”
Europe, however, is one of the leading regulators of technology companies globally and recently introduced new data laws to protect end users.
