The Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, has said that the Monday morning attack at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Owerri is proof that insecurity in the state is politically motivated.
The governor who spoke to journalists at the police headquarters in Owerri where the three lifeless bodies, as well as the two other suspects who attacked INEC headquarters in Owerri were paraded, claimed some politicians were heightening insecurity in the state.
The governor was however happy that security agents were able to overpower the suspected criminals who attacked the INEC headquarters in Owerri on Monday morning.
