Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has reiterated his administration’s commitment towards providing adequate security of lives and property of all and sundry in the state.
The Governor made committed his Independence Day Anniversary message, issued by the Special Adviser on Media, Muktar Gidado.
While congratulating Nigerians for witnessing yet another Independence Day, the Bauchi State Governor called on the people to use the occasion to reflect and emulate the struggle and sacrifice of the founding fathers of the country, and ensure their labour shall never be in vain.
On the issue of insecurity ranging from insurgency, kidnappings, and banditry among others, Governor Mohammed expressed concern over the ugly incidents and assured the citizens that his government has taken measures in collaboration with the security agencies to guarantee the security of lives and property.
The statement further indicated that the Governor assured that security would continue to be the topmost priority of his administration to enable it to sustain the relative peace being enjoyed by the people of the state.
He, therefore, called on the people as they celebrate the 61st Nigeria’s independence to rededicate themselves and continue to make sacrifices by praying to Almighty Allah to shower his mercy and blessings to help the country move forward.
