Footage showing a cross-section of Imo Residents holding placards which read ‘Tanko must Go’ and holding the name of the recently removed Imo State Governor has surfaced online.
Within the past few days, a majority of Nigerians have expressed confusion over the replacement of the existing Imo Governor with the fourth runner up in the gubernatorial election in person of Hope Uzodinma.
The protest is obvious displeasure by some state residents who are unhappy with the decision reached by the Supreme Court which they consider foul play. It is not clear what they hope to do as a Supreme Court ruling is final and cannot be contested.
