COVID-19: Nigeria’s President Buhari and Vice, Osinbajo’s vaccination to be aired live

Personal Assistant to the President on Media, Bashir Ahmed has confirmed that Nigeria has received its first batch of AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine today.

Approximately 4 million – 3.94 million, doses of the vaccines were shipped in via the Covax Facility in partnership with UNICEF and the WHO.

The President, Muhammadu Buhari, the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, and other top officials such as the SGF, Boss Mustapha are expected to be the first to receive the vaccines and the process will be streamed live on television on Saturday.
