Ibrahim Chatta VS Odunlade Adekola : Who do Nigerians prefer?

Nigerians on twitter are attempting to decide the fate of two of Nollywood’s biggest actors – Ibrahim Chatta and Odunlade Adekola.

For years, Odunlade has been the undisputed favorite. He is celebrated, not just for his entertaining roles in Yoruba movies but also for giving meme-worthy facial expressions for today’s millennials.

However, in recent times, Ibrahim Chatta is giving the king of memes (a.k.a Odunlade) a run for his money.

While many believe he has churned out more movies hence becoming arguably more popular, others believe Odunlade Adekola is breaking barriers by venturing into acting in English movies and so should remain the undisputed ‘Social Media favorite’.

As far as awards go, Odunlade has bagged 5 awards since 2014 ranging from The City People Movie Awards for best actor to the NEA Best actor.

There is, however, no known record of Ibrahim Chatta’s winnings as far as awards go.
