Yetty Williams says children are always going to face different things and every generation has something unique to them, why it seems Gen Z and Alpha generations are so different is the fact that they are been raised by parents who have no idea what a digital childhood is.
Generally, parents are able to raise their offspring off a script they are also raised with some modification. According to her getting a balance in this digital world is having a family digital wellbeing plan that means parents have children of different ages how long are they spending online?
It should also include parents watching and consuming content online with their children, parents should insert themselves in their children’s digital world.
She recommended three parenting principles for raising Gen Z and Gen Alpha which are; understand your parenting style, understand your child’s love language, have a parenting vision board which means you’re not raising a child but an adult.
