How Ethiopian Airlines plans to celebrate International Women’s Day

Ethiopian Airlines is setting the pace this year as preparation for International Women’s Day is coming up March 8th this year.

Plans have been finalized to conduct an All-Women Functioned flight from Addis Ababa to Stockholm- Oslo international Airport.

This will be a historic feat for the Airline as such has never occured before, having an all female crew manage operations from the cabin crew, to the airport operations, as well as traffic air control.

Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO, Tewolde GebreMariam said the flight aims to honor women for their indispensable contribution and ensure gender equality.

March 8 is International Women’s Day, and Ethiopian Airlines will celebrate the day with a historic flight with an all-female crew from Addis Ababa to Stockholm and Oslo.
