The House of Representatives has criticized the recent decision by Jamb making the National Identification Number NIN, a prerequisite to sit for the forthcoming Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Lawmakers say Nigeria is not ready for the decision and want an extension by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board JAMB.
They say the National Identity Management Commission NIMC has been unable to effectively register Nigerians thus the decision is ill-timed.
