The House of Representatives has begun the process of amending the EFCC’s act to provide for the appointment of caretaker management to take over the day to day running of a sealed company, pending the determination of the case against it.
Lawmakers say this will help save jobs in in the advent of corruption cases against allegedly corrupt companies and employers.
The bill to amend the act was sponsored by Honourable Ozurigbo Ugonma from Imo State who says the move to take over the property of suspected corrupt persons, now makes the Nigerian worker become a victim.
