Hector Bellerin has been ruled out of action for nine months after rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during Arsenal’s 2 nil win over Chelsea last weekend.
The Spaniard who was making his first start since mid-December due to a calf injury, went down unchallenged in the second half of the match and was stretchered off.
He will miss the remainder of this season and most likely the start of the 2019/2020 season.
