The Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire has announced the second death to COVID-19 shortly after the release of some recovered patients.
He made the announcements at a press declaration earlier on Monday, the 30th of March.
The health minister mentioned that most of the 111 cases are people who have recently returned from high-risk countries.
He further cautioned that the elderly and those with underlying conditions need to be protected.
