2018 world champion, Lewis Hamilton took pole position at the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Hamilton held off fierce competition from team-mate Valtteri Bottas and Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel to claim his 11th pole position of the season by over a tenth of a second.
He will go in search of an eleventh race win in a dominant season. The Englishman who won his fifth world title at the Mexican Grand Prix has won 52 poles and 50 races from the last 100 races.
