Delta Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, has described former Governor James Ibori as a bridge builder who laid a solid foundation of peace and development in the state.
Ifeanyi Okowa, during a reception in honour of the former governor, organized in Anioma, said Ibori encouraged members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to prioritize the need to put the state and party interests before personal interest.
The Governor who said he is committed to taking the state to greater heights, described Ibori as a bridge builder who taught other PDP politicians to be selfless and accommodating.
Chief Ibori who thanked the Anioma people for hosting him, prayed for fairness and equity to continue to reign in the governance of the state.
