Gombe State govt calls for Calm amidst Mai Tangale Crisis

Gombe State Governor, Inuwa Yahaya, has assured that his administration will accord the educational sector priority for the good of the younger generation.

The Governor made the commitment while receiving the report of the Committee on Tertiary Institutions in the state.

It was a short ceremony but significant giving the stance of the Governor Inuwa administration on education both for basic and tertiary Institutions in the state.

The State Government had earlier constituted a Committee to look into the viability of five higher institutions established by the last administration in the state.

Although the Committee did not reveal the recommendations on the said institutions, but the Governor said the recommendations would be studied by the government

All eyes are now on the government white paper that could reveal the recommendations and what would be the fate of the five tertiary institutions in the state.
