The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria will face hosts Niger in the semi-final of the WAFU B 2019 U-17 African Cup of Nations qualifying tournament on Thursday. The Golden Eaglets topped Group B after Cotedivoire won against Burkina Faso three-nil on Sunday.
Manu Garba’s lads lost their first game 3-2 against Burkina Faso but went on to win the second game 5-1 against Cote d’Ivoire to top the group with three points and enjoy a better goal difference to the two.
The overall winners will progress to the 2019 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Tanzania.
