Nana Akufo-Addo‘s administration promised to foot water and electricity bills of all Ghanaians throughout April, May, and June.

Since the Ghanian President, Nana Akufo-Addo made this announcement he has received praises and commendations from Ghanaians and other African communities on Social media.

In his address to the nation, he promised that the electricity supply will not be cut off for Ghanaians for the next three months and also electricity bills won’t be paid by the citizens for these months.

These measures put in place by the President is to help the vulnerable households doing this trying times of the pandemic disease and to reduce the effect the shocking outbreak has on the citizen.

Ghanaians have been on a two-week-long lockdown since March 30 following the President’s announcement. The country has 408 confirmed cases of the coronavirus.
