In Adamawa State, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has said that over 2,000 personnel would be deployed to the 21 local governments of Adamawa state to maintain law and order.
The commandant, Muhammad Sanusi Bello, stated this at the sensitisation workshop in Yola, the state capital where its personnel were sensitized on the need to adhere to the election duty’s operational rules ahead of Saturday’s Presidential poll.
He charged them to also maintain operational standard guidelines on electoral duties and other election security rules for personnel towards a secured electoral process.
