A coalition of civil societies known as The Osun Masterminds has called on President of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to review the Nation’s minimum wage and payment of backlog of salaries owed Academic Staffs Union of Universities ASUU to cushion effect of fuel subsidy removal.
Addressing journalists during its June edition of state-of-the-state address held in Osogbo, the state capital, Executive Director of the group, Prof. Wasiu Oyedokun-Alli, lamented that fuel subsidy removal has skyrocketed prices of commodities as well as transportation system, saying this requires urgent intervention before it rubs off on the good intentions of the the federal government.
