Greek’s Stefanos Tsitsipas on Wednesday qualified for the maiden French Open semi-final with a straight-set win over Russia’s Andrey Rublev 7-5 6-2 6-3.
The players competed ferociously in the first round, but nerves broke the US Open quarter-finalist, as he served for the first set.
The 22-year-old Tsitsipas will now play world number 1, Novak Djokovic, for a place in Sunday’s final in Paris.
