A coalition of Nigerian Civil Society Groups on good governance has appealed to youths to shun monetary inducement capable of truncating the peaceful conduct of Nigeria’s 2019 elections.
The appeal was made in Abuja at a roundtable on how to conduct credible elections.
The roundtable, which also included experts on behavioral counseling, also stressed the need for youths to be agents of positive change rather than pawns in the hands of mischief-making politicians.
The forum was part of an outreach of the United Nations Development Action for Change in Africa.
