Nigeria international Victor Osimhen has emerged as the best young player of the year 2022, winning the glamorous 2022 Globe Soccer Awards for his excellent performance this season.
The prestigious award took place at the Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai on Thursday, three days before the start of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Osimhen, Gavi and Valverde were the three finalists for the ‘Emerging Player Of The Year’ and the Nigeria international has beaten the Barcelona and Real Madrid midfielders.
Osimhen has had a stunning start to the season at the Estadio Diego Armando Maradona thanks to his 10 goals in 14 appearances across all competitions.
