Official reports say the first batch of an experimental Ebola vaccine just arrived Kinshasha, DR Congo on Wednesday.

The batch contains four thousand doses of the vaccine which was provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) to attack the current Ebola outbreak.

Following trials of this vaccine on humans, it has been certified safe and effective but has not been licensed yet.

The vaccine is to be kept at a temperature of -60 to -80 degrees Celsius which might pose much of a challenge

The first time this shot was used was in 2015 in Guniea towards the end of a wide outbreak in West Africa.

This current Ebola outbreak has a count of 39 probable or confirmed cases with 19 deaths between April 14 and May 13.
