A serious fire incident was recorded close to the scene of the collapsed seven storey building in the Oniru area of Lagos, causing some tension in the area.
The fire incident was recorded at Liberty Apartments on Ihuntayi street, off Palace Road in the Oniru area of Lagos.
Our correspondent observed as smoke billowed from the apartment on Ihuntayi street, off Palace Road.
The fire had since been contained by men of the fire service.
