The Adamawa State government has urged residents in the state to brace up for a total lockdown as part of measures to contain the coronavirus pandemic

The state governor Ahmadu Fintiri during a live broadcast announced to the state that Adamawa now has a case who tested positive to coronavirus which is being managed by the state’s health facility

He says the index case is a returnee from Kano who submitted himself for testing and further isolation when he began to feel symptoms of the coronavirus and continue to partner with the state government to ensure the pandemic is tackled and contained from spreading
