Folarin Falana popularly known as Falz has revealed that he doesn’t go to church and he didn’t just stop there he also gave his reason why he doesn’t.
He made it clear in an interview with Silverbird Television that he is no atheist, as he believes there is God, but he believes in Spirituality over Religion. The rapper further disclosed that he has nothing against the church or going to church, as everyone is entitled to freedom of religion.
He further stated that the fact that he hasn’t been to church in a while doesn’t make him less of a Christian.
The rapper also said the few times he attended churches, he was put under undue pressure stating a certain instance where a pastor called him to the altar just to acknowledge his presence, and that was a turn off as he felt the people were there to worship God and didn’t come out for him. He went on to say the pastor even handed him the microphone to address the congregation.
