Facebook, the social media giant has started marking posts releasing information about the COVID 19 pandemic as spam.
Multiple Facebook users complained about it their twitter and other social media platforms that they have been unable to post information about the COVID 19 virus yesterday, Tuesday. Others who were able to successfully post their publications realised that they were deleted.
Facebook said that the reason for this is because of the bug in the anti-spam system and it has been blocking the news publication releases about the COVID 19 virus from appearing on the site.
Yesterday Facebook’s vice president Guy Rosen said that they will fix the bug problem soon.
Reports say that Facebook and some other social media companies have been taking down posts and news relating to the COVID 19 in order to stop false information about the virus from spreading on their platforms.
