Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has urged the Federal Government to concession federal roads to states for proper maintenance, just as he called for a new road maintenance model to guarantee Nigerian roads’ better condition and longevity.
The governor said that the calls became imperative due to the parlous state of federal roads, which he stressed the current road maintenance model had failed to address.
Governor Mbah made the call when he visited the site of the collapsed bridge between the New Artisan flyover and the NNPC Mega Station along the Enugu – Port Harcourt Expressway.
