Police stationed at the Lekki Tollgate arrested a protester while he was discussing the injustice in Nigeria and how that is a precursor of the #ENDSARS protest at the Lekki Tollgate last year. The man was dragged off by uniformed men wearing the RRS and LASG overall and consequently arrested.
Two other protesters have also been arrested by law enforcement agents stationed at the toll gate in Lagos State. Similar protests are also taking place in Ondo State and Abuja. Some known faces such Falz the BahdGuy, Mr. Macaroni who interviewed with newsmen.
Protesters were also teargassed today at the venue which has been contested to be the place where many were massacred
The #ENDSARS which took place exactly a year away from today has left a lot of Nigerians with painful memories and many have taken to the toll to mark the first anniversary of what remains a dark day for many young Nigerians.
