Elon Musk admits to praying for the success of NASA’s mission

The first commercially developed spacecraft has successfully landed after a historic two-month mission to space in what can be deemed a historic feat.

The NASA Astronauts, Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley successfully splashed into the Gulf of Mexico yesterday after which Mission Control dispatched a “Thank you for Flying SpaceX” message before they flew by air to Houston, Texas to meet their families.

Elon Musk, SpaceX CEO was visibly emotional and said as much in his address when he noted that the feat had been in the works for 18 years of SpaceX’s Operation and thanked both the NASA team and the SpaceX team.

The return-trip despite getting beleagured by the Storm Isaias for two days before a final landing at the Gulf of Mexico.

With this achievement, the SpaceX Crew Dragon can now be certified as a human-rated spacecraft. In addition, another mission is currently in the works to take four more astronaults to the space station.

Tesla’s SpaceX was in competition with Boeing’s Starliner and although NASA expected the Boeing to beat SpaceX tot he launchpad, SpaceX launched1` earlier in May and Elon Musk couldn’t be any prouder.
