| Kayode Fayemi, former Governor of Ekiti State, in response to the incident at the All Progressives Congress, APC, secretariat in Ado Ekiti on June 1, said he barely made it out alive.
Mr Fayemi said it took God’s intervention and is grateful to be alive.
He refers to the shooting during which a former lawmaker, Opeyemi Bamidele, and one other person were shot by a police officer, who is currently in police custody.
Regarding Mr Dayo Adeyeye leaving the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for the APC, Fayemi said this would help in securing a win for the APC at the July 14 gubernatorial elections for Ekiti.
