Efe Ajagba who was Nigeria’s only representative in the boxing event of the 2016 Olympics recorded a first-round knockout win over his American opponent Nick Jones in their six-round heavyweight fight which improved his unbeaten streak to 7-0 in the United States.
In August, Efe Ajagba became a sensation all across the social media after his opponent Curtis Harper was disqualified as he walked away before a scheduled bout in front of surprised fans.
The all African games gold medallist in 2015, Ajagba convinced fans that he was for real and not just a media hype by completely dominating Jones who was undefeated coming into the bout with a 6-0 record.
