The eight suspects arrested over the abduction of 20 travellers at the Igueben train station in Edo State, plotted the kidnapping with the hope of receiving a ransom of N20 million naira.
This was the allegation the Edo State Police Command levelled against the suspects in a two-count charge.
The state government has however announced that all the victims abducted have been rescued.
