The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, has guaranteed passengers and other airport users at all of its airports, of its Ebola preventive measures.

The Minister of Health, Isaac Adewole said that the Federal Government is putting sufficient measures in place to prevent any case of Ebola in the country due to the risks from its resurgence in the DRC. 

Adewole said that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC is synchronizing efforts to evaluate and handle the risk posed by Ebola to Nigeria. 

He said all States have been notified to boost monitoring and send out advisory notes for residents. 

General Manager, Corporate Affairs of the Authority, Mrs. Henrietta Yakubu declared that since the first recorded case of Ebola in Nigeria, through Patrick Sawyer, the authority has not relaxed its efforts at the airports.
