DSS asks Sunday Igboho to Surrender or be Tracked Down

Sunday Igboho Hearing to hold today

On Thursday the Department of State Services(DSS) raided the abode of the famous Yoruba nation agitator whose name is Sunday Adeyemo but is popularly known as Sunday Igboho in Ibadan and arrested 13 of his men who were armed.

DSS spokesperson, Peter Afunanya made this known to the journalists during a briefing late in the evening. He said Sunday’s house was raided because they got a piece of information telling them that Sunday was stocking and piling up firearms to cause disorder in the region.

Afunanya also said that when they got closer to the home of Mr. Sunday, they were attacked by nine of his men and engaged them in a gun battle but they were eventually overpowered.

Afunanya also mentioned that two of Igboho’s men were killed and a security operator injured but Sunday Igboho fled during the gun battle. Afunanya also said that the law will definitely reach Igboho and he also urged Igboho to turn himself in or he will be tracked down.

The 13 suspected agitators that were arrested by the security operative consist of 12 males and 1 female and an untold count of armory were recovered.
