Nigerian artiste Reekado Bank was reently embarrassed during a live tv show after an unidentified woman called to accuse him of sleeping with her.
The alleged victim claimed the singer abandoned her after he had allegedly taken advantage of her.
As expected, Nigerians had mixed reactions to the act.
However, speaking on the act via twitter, Reekado Banks claimed the call was a prank.
According to him, the supposed “prank” was done at the expense of his personality.
He wrote, “It is truly a problem when a media platform begins to pursue shock value at the expense of an artistes’ image.
“So that was a prank call on a tv show, it was funny then , but I do not like where this is headed!”
