The 37-year-old Destiny’s Child songstress seeks depression treatment in a facility outside of Los Angeles’ according to TMZ. She’s been suffering from this mental health since between the age of 13 and 15…at that age the young lady didn’t know what to call it.
Williams spoke about her struggles with depression and mental illness over the years and admitted feeling ‘suicidal’.
In a statement, Michelle wrote:
I have dedicated myself to increasing awareness of mental health and wants people to recognize the time to seek help, support and guidance from their loved ones.
She is proudly and happily advocating for the betterment of those in need.
Michelle got engaged to pastor and life coach Chad Johnson, 40, in March.
