The Defence and Police Office Officers Wives Association DEPOWA has empowered about sixty-six widows of slain servicemen in Abuja.
The National President of DEPOWA Bolanle Olonisakin says the gesture was conceptualized to help the women enhance their skills and afford them with relevant skills to take care of their families.
Mrs Olonisakin says the recent graduates comprise of participants in its eight batch of training and assured it will continue to support women whose husbands have paid the ultimate sacrifice with lives.
