Delta police arrest female siblings with 700 wraps of Indian hemp, 33 ties of cocaine

The Delta State Police Command on Sunday, says it arrested two female suspected drugs peddlers in Ozoro, headquarters of Isoko North Local Government Area of the state.

The suspects who appeared to be female siblings and identified as Elo Edinburh and Joy Edinburh, were arrested after a surveillance team attached to crack squad, Asaba, raided suspected drug dealers hideout in the Ozoro community.

Acting police spokesman, DSP Edafe Bright, who disclosed this in a statement, said that several exhibits of substances suspected to be hard drugs were recovered from the suspects.

The exhibits recovered include 700 wraps of substance suspected to be Indian hemp, 29wraps of loud, one packet of loud, 33 ties of cocaine, 6 pcs of moly hard drugs, 2 sachets of tramadol, 13 capsules of swinol, and 14 packets of Rizlers.

The statement further read that once the investigation is completed, the suspects will be prosecuted.
