Witnesses at the defamation trial that actor Johnny Depp has filed against his ex-wife Actor Amber Heard, testified on Wednesday that they saw no injuries to Heard following an alleged domestic dispute with Depp.

A police officer and a front desk worker who interacted with Heard after the incident in May, 2016, said that they saw no marks on Heard’s face indicating that she had been physically abused by Depp, as she later claimed.

Tyler Hadden, an officer with the LAPD, said that he and his partner concluded after being called to Depp’s penthouse apartment and interviewing Heard and others at the scene, that no physical altercation had taken place.

The witness testimony was recorded in early 2021 and played at the trial that is now in its third week in Fairfax, Virginia.

The 58-year-old actor is suing Heard, 36, for $50 million. Heard has counter-sued for $100 million, saying Depp smeared her by calling her a liar.
