Some stakeholders in Bayelsa State have called on the state government to take proactive steps towards ending cult-related killings and other vices in the state.

They believe that the constant harassment of peaceful and law-abiding citizens will be a thing of the past if the government comes in, as residents are said to have been living in fear of the unknown.

Even though the government is believed to be taking measures to safeguard lives and properties in the state, some of these stakeholders believe that nothing would change until restiveness among youths is addressed.
