A woman, Nnaemaka Nwosu, allegedly sets a policewoman and her two children ablaze in the Nnokwa community, in the Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The suspect, who hails from the Amawbia community, after being divorced by her husband, became homeless and was in dire need of accommodation when the policewoman offered her accommodation in her apartment.
A source in the area said Nwosu was living with the policewoman and her family members until an argument that degenerated into a fight ensued between her and the policewoman.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, who confirmed the incident, INFORMS that the suspect had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation for prosecution.
He said the corpses of the policewoman and her children had been deposited at the mortuary.
