Kano State Government on Sunday commenced the fumigation of some worship centres in the metropolis in a bid to curtail the spread of Coronavirus in the state.
The State Commissioner of Environment, Kabiru Getso, who was on ground to monitor the exercise in some of the churches, said the fumigation is part of the efforts put in place by the state government to curb the spread of Coronavirus. The Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Kano State chapter, Reverend Samuel Adeolu, commended the steps taken by the government.
Reverend Adeolu, however, called on the members to always engage in proper hand washing.
